All you have to do to enter is create a social post on Facebook or Instagram where you include how you would spend your perfect day in the River District with that person along with a photo or email all the details along with a photo to riverdistrict@owensound.ca

Full contest details

• You must tag @RiverDistrictOS to be included in the contest
• Posts must be made on or before 11:59 p.m. on June 15th
• Each entry will be entered into a draw for the prize package
• Winner will be announced on June 16th
• Stories and pictures will be added to the River District website and could be used for promotional purposes
• “Father” is anyone you would choose to celebrate on Father’s Day regardless of relation
• Stories are hypothetical, perfect days and do not have to be based on experience but must take place in most part within the River District
• 400 word maximum
• Photos should be included with entry but do not have to be recent. Pictures must include the person you are celebrating
• Any stories deemed inappropriate in nature will not be included in the contest
• Please ensure you like and/or follow the River District to receive updates on the contest
• Entries can be sent in via email to riverdistrict@owensound.ca and will be put directly onto the River District social pages as part of the contest
• No purchase necessary

My father is one of a kind. I am beyond blessed to have an aging father who continues to have his health, humour and humility. He is retired but his strong work ethic continues to amaze me every day. Like most fathers, he never asks for anything. He is humble and grateful for the love of his family, grandchildren and friends. The River District is a place he grew up. There are so many unique shops, local art, restaurants and entertainment. Taking time to spend a day (or two) together in our community would be delightful and meaningful for both of us. This generous gift would not only convey appreciation, but it would recognize the dedication and commitment of being a father for over 50 years. My father truly deserves to take some time away to enjoy everything the River District has to offer!

The perfect Father’s Day afternoon in the River District would include the whole family my Dad my son Brady and dog domino. We would take a nice walk around and stop for a delicious lunch at one of the restaurants outside patios if we still have doms with us lol. Taking time to stop and look in the stores downtown while we are walking. After lunch we would go and find some ice cream for everyone to enjoy .

The perfect Father’s Day in the River District would be spending the day with my husband and our two girls. Our daughters have been blessed with an amazing Dad who works so hard, loves to hang out with family and loves to have fun. We would start our day with some smoothies from Sprout; lunch at our favourite spot, Yummy Yummy; a walk downtown; and a special date night on the beautiful patio at Sizzlin.  We’re a young and growing family that moved here last summer, and we absolutely love what is going on at The River District! It would we amazing to win this contest and be able to surprise my amazing husband and father two our two beautiful girls.

This Fathers Day our Family will be spending the whole day at the river bank with dad! The girls just love every moment spent at the river with dad. Catching and watching all different animals. After long day spent we will hit the good Ol Ted n Graces up for some ice cream.
