This novice pottery workshop will introduce you to 'throwing off the hump' a technique of pulling multiple pieces from one lump of centred cay. Your instructor will refresh your Clay 1 skills and show you how to form and release miniature tea pots on the wheel. This is a great introduction to this skillful production technique. You can use this in you own studio as you begin to throw larger forms 'off the hump'. Each student will produce 2 tea pots and will be given time for some decorative underglaze touches.
