
WATERCOLOURS 'EN PLEIN AIR'
Would you like to spend the day watercolour painting outdoors at a bucolic farm with sweeping pastoral views? Do you have a big floppy sun hat? Join artist Michelle Minke for this day of painting in the field. She will take you through some helpful exercises in the morning and then assist you as you paint 'en plain air' out in nature. This course comes with refreshments and a light snack to keep you nourished. DATES & TIMES SUN JULY 20th 10am to 2pm YOUR TUTOR Michelle Minke. Michelle studied fine art and urban planning at University of Waterloo and was a secondary teacher at BPSDS in Lion's Head. Michelle has been a painter for many years, but has recently started focusing on watercolours. She loves to share tips and tricks that make her students love the medium! WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING Wear comfortable clothing and sensible shoes! A sun hat is a good idea too. If you require more than a snack please bring a lunch. Please bring your own paints, brushes and watercolour sketchbook. GB Arts will provide water containers, palettes, easels, chairs, boards and paper for morning studies. ACCESSIBILITY This is a working farm so be prepared for uneven ground and attention seeking kittens.
