Watercolour is a mercurial medium to work in, controlling fluid pigment can be challenging. Raquel Yang has painted for decades and has lots of teaching experience, she will patiently walk you through her successful approach to watercolour painting. This course is suited to novice or intermediate painters but beginners will benefit from an introduction to tools and supplies and some warm up exercises before working on an 11x14 floral still life. DATES & TIMES SAT APRIL 5th, 9:30 - 1:30pm YOUR TUTOR Raquell Yang is a lecturer, teacher and artist who holds a masters in fine arts and a bachelors degree from the University of the Arts, Taiwan. Her practice encompasses; calligraphy, watercolour, mixed media and large scale wall murals. Ms. Yang recently published "Heritage Owen Sound: Fresh Perspectives" a collection of 24 watercolours of local historical sites available from Ginger Press bookstore.
