SURFACE DECORATION AND GLAZING FOR CLAY, 3 SESSIONS
Explore the endless universe of embellishing your work and develop confidence while the instructors guide you through the dos and don'ts of; slip trailing, etching, carving, screen-printing, underglazes, transfers, resists and prints and much more. This is a great way to skip all the sloppy explorations and get down to business doing things correctly and getting your questions answered by working potters. Participants will be given test tiles for some assignments but will be responsible to arrive with other pots as prescribed by the instructors. Leather hard or bone-dry cylinder up to 15cm will be required. This class is open to open studio members or those who can bring the required pots to work on. If you would like to attend but do not have the ability to bring the required pots, please contact the office and we will see what can be arranged.
