SCULPTING IN CLAY - FLOCK OF BIRDS
Learn to sculpt and decorate a trio of clay birds. This little gaggle can become whatever bird is your favourite; sparrows? robins? cardinals?. Place your feathered friends on a branch or a stump it's up to your imagination. The project has just enough challenge but it is not so difficult that a beginner won't produce a lovely piece. Using a variety of handbuilding techniques for clay you will feel confident tackling more involved sculptures after this class. Each participant will complete 1 sculpture during class. The sculptures will be fired twice and glazed after the class, they will be ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks later. DATES & TIMES SAT JUNE 7th, 10 - 4pm YOUR TUTOR Annette ten Cate. Annette is a graduate of the Sheridan Craft & Design program in Ceramics and has been creating both figurative and wildlife sculptures for over 15 years.
