This practice slows you down and allows you to focus on colour and form and texture like no other art. Suitable for beginners, you will be guided through this charming 3-dimentional highland cow portrait. YOUR TUTOR. Megan Cleland is a self taught artist specializing in felted portraits, using wool and other animal fibres to create lifelike textured works. She began exploring felting ten years ago, drawn to the natural colours and richness of the medium. In 2023, Megan showcased her work at The Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, which led to gallery representation and increased public interest in her unique approach to fibre art. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING All materials provided, students will go home with their tools to continue their felting practice at home.
