MITTEN SERGER EXTRAVAGANZA
What a timely and fun workshop for mid winter. Just when you've lost one of each pair of mittens you own, along comes our mitten sew-a-polooza. Learn how to upcycle old sweaters into fabulous pairs of mittens and make as many as you can during the class. The ultimate 'green' craft that will keep you and your family warm for the balance of the winter. Cut and combine crazy parts of old sweaters (the uglier the better) with the help of Patricia Campbell of Sydenham Sewing. Bring your own serger if you have one or borrow one of ours here at GB Arts. This class is fun for all, whether you have experience sewing/serging or not If you don't have a serger but want to learn, let us know and you can borrow one of ours!
