
LEARN TO KNIT SOCKS - 3 SESSIONS
An intermediate class that will walk you through the completion of a top-down, heel-flap sock. Join us for three 2-hour classes to learn the basics of sock construction, how to turn a heel, how to graft stitches, and how to customize for size. You must have basic knitting skills (cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease) and be comfortable working in the round. You will be given 'homework' during the week; please allow additional time at home to work on your projects. Whether designing unique pieces or teaching others the art of knitting, Paula is all about making knitting fun and accessible. Her designs play with texture and style, and in her classes, she focuses on helping students find their own rhythm and personal touch with every stitch. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING 50g of sock yarn (wool + nylon blend); 2.25mm needles (set of double pointed, 9" circulars or 32" circular for magic loop). All class materials can be purchased at Riverside Yarns outside of class hours, Riverside Yarns offers a 15% discount to students for class supplies.
