A teapot is the perfect project piece to upgrade your hand building skills and work on attachments, lids and handles. Though complex it is nonetheless a staple in the potters repertoire. Heather will guide you through the design and construction of a unique piece that you will enjoy forever. The course involves 2 days of hand building that incorporates decoration and painting with underglazes or coloured slips. Your piece will be clear glazed to show off your hard work. prerequisite : our 3 day hand building workshop or equivalent experience All pieces made during class will be glazed and ready for pick up within 3 weeks. The class includes 1 finished teapot. Extra pieces will be fired and glazed at extra cost.
