Owen Sound Artists Co-op is pleased to host the 16th Annual High School Juried Art Show for senior secondary students in Grey and Bruce Counties for the month of May. Saturday May 9th , there will be an open house and ceremony presenting 10 awards to these exceptional students for their 2 and 3 dimensional art. The public will be able to view and vote for the People’s Choice Award which will be given out at the end of the month after all votes have been tallied. This is a diverse exhibit that not only allows the students to show their work in a gallery setting,it also allows us to see how creative these youth are. Last year there were over 140 pieces of art entered and displayed. This is an excellent opportunity to reward students for excellence in arts and crafts,,encourage confidence and a future in the arts. Over $400 In cash and prizes will be awarded,donated from local artists and community groups,including the Retired Women Teachers of Ontario. All secondary schools in the Grey Bruce are invited to participate. The Owen Sound Artists Co-op is open 6 days a week, at 942 2nd ave E
