Introduction to the CNC Router with Nick Davies and Hugh Hunter - 3 Day
Participants will learn how to create a useful and decorative item that will be machine cut using our CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) router. They will learn to use software to design a handy cell phone and key fob tray or a charcuterie board. Both of these projects have been designed to teach the use of adding text, importing graphics, and basic CNC commands. The design parameters will be loaded into the CNC router and machined from supplied hardwood blanks.
Participants should have some proficiency in using a Windows or Mac computer. It is recommended to bring your own laptop.
This is a workshop spanning three consecutive evenings. Each class will begin at 6:30 pm and end at 8:30 pm. The workshop will be held at Intersections Wood Collaborative at 299 10th Street E., Owen Sound.
