As one of the initial ten charter agencies incorporated in Canada in 1960, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce (BBBSGB) has been serving youth and families throughout the community for over 60 years. Transitioning to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Owen Sound in 2016 and again expanding our reach in 2019 to Grey and Bruce, we are proud to have deep roots within the community. As a mentorship organization, we believe in investing in potential of all youth and have witnessed our in-school and community-based mentorship programs doing just that.

By matching young people facing adversities with a mentor, or a Big as we call them, we are able to connect youth with a life line. BBBSGB Bigs and Littles connect weekly. Their visits are at the heart of our mentoring program. They provide the opportunity for Bigs to give Littles the care, guidance and friendship they need to overcome barriers and build life-long resilience.
